Northern Lights tonight over Moose River In Old Forge, Ny
This was the craziest experience with visible Northern lights and lightning storm all at the same time. You could see the reds with your eye clearly for about 5 minutes. With some moments of crazy rays as well. Drying off my gear now and heading back out again soon when this rain passes.

Join us for the Guideboat Academy on August 24 & 25 from Noon to 4 PM! This unique experience, sponsored by Green Side of the Big Apple LLC, is open to local youngsters and absolutely FREE!
Learn from expert Hanmer racers, seasoned rowers, and builders. All boats, equipment, and materials are provided. After 8 hours of hands-on instruction, you'll receive a Certificate of Completion and compete in a mini race on Lake Flower, followed by a delicious hot dog cookout!
